My recent weekend at Kurhaus Bergün showed me how an overnight room transforms the workflow, providing crucial buffer time and allowing me to deliver a complete, beautifully documented gallery of guest portraits without any rush.

The bride and groom had no idea I was coming. Their maid of honour and best man had secretly arranged my visit as a wonderful surprise for the couple. Thanks to their thoughtful planning, the newlyweds were able to take home a hand-drawn watercolour portrait, captured in their wedding finery, the very same night.

A week ago the Trau Dich wedding fair finally took place. In this blog post I am sharing a look at my stand and the samples I exhibited.

I had the privilege of leading another workshop in May. The 23 participants were aged between 10 and 13. I gave some tips and tricks on the subject of drawing people. 

As you may have already read in the previous blog post, I officially sold my own designs at a market stall for the first time at the end of April 2024. 

About two months ago, I was asked if I could imagine organising a stand at the GODI Conference 2024. 
I thought about it a few times, but then I said yes. I went for it because this year I have set myself the goal of creating more freely from my own inspiration again. To draw outside of commissioned work and realise my own projects. I wanted my drawings to reflect more of what was on my mind. 
And I was adventurous enough to realise this stand. 

2023 was a wild year. It was just a little more than a year ago, when I changed school. And this changed so much more. 
I've got so many opportunities for which I am so thankful for. So let's reflect a bit on the milestones reached during the last twelve months. 

 Postcards with the illustration from the story of Juna and the bear will also be sold at the Christmas market in Stein am Rhein. That's why I was able to pack and send out my first order as soon as the postcards arrived. 

One big goal that I set myself for 2023 has been ticked off. I had photos and illustrations printed for the first time.
